About IELTS Exam

During the PTE Academic test, you will be evaluated on your proficiency in real-life, academic English. This means you will listen to excerpts from lectures, view graphs and charts, and encounter a variety of accents, including British, American, and non-native speakers. This exposure to different accents prepares you for the diversity of accents you may encounter in everyday situations.
The test session lasts for approximately three hours and consists of three main parts: speaking and writing (combined), listening, and reading. These sections assess different aspects of your language skills, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of your English proficiency.

General Facts

Center and Admit Card : In India, the IELTS Exam is available in over 50 cities, providing convenient access for test takers. It’s important to note that no admit card is provided for the IELTS Exam.

Result : IELTS Exam results are typically released 13 calendar days after the paper-based test and 5-7 calendar days after the computer-based test. Candidates will receive only one original Test Report Form (TRF) as an official document of their scores.

Score Reporting: Candidates can request up to 5 additional Test Report Forms (TRFs) to be sent to Receiving Institutions within 1 month of the IELTS test. Courier delivery through DHL incurs charges, while electronic submission of scores is
available at no cost through the IDP IELTS office, if accepted by the institution.

Score Validity: 2 Years.
